It all started with the very first wish granted in April of 1980; from there the foundation grew to inspire and help those children whose last wish should be fulfilled. This foundation is extremely busy and has loads of wishes it needs to pay attention to on a daily basis. Those lucky chosen children get their wishes, whatever they may be, granted with the help, love and support surrounding them. Recent wishes include things like getting to go on a train ride in San Diego, going on a cruise, and playing football with Mickey Mouse.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here. In the coming week there are events being held for the foundation to keep granting those wishes.

All of the events this week have a magical and wonderful air to them. Everything starts on Saturday with the Men Making a Difference gathering held on a cruise ship in southern Florida. Into Sunday Fire dancing Festival held in Hollywood, Florida welcomes people from all over the country to come and enjoy the festivities from 8am to 11am. After that, a bit of a rest is needed. Going into the next week, Fridays event will be an auction of at least 20 bar stools for the foundation to help with granting a wish to a child.

The next Monday from five to eight pm, clear the calendar and grab the kiddies for an ice cream social that will have everyone agreeing it is deliciously good time. Fun and excitement does not only include the children who make the wish, but can be for all those willing to participate in the foundations great works and wonderful events. Don’t overdo it this season there will be more to come in the next week and the next month. Be prepared for a good time had by all. Help grant wishes, see a child smile.
